What data we process and why

Inquiry form: name, company (optional), e-mail, phone, message text and an optional attachment (drawing or photo). We process this data solely to handle and answer your inquiry and for the follow-up business communication (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract). For safety, submitted inquiries are also backed up on our server so that no inquiry is ever lost (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest).

Server logs: IP address and request time in the web server's technical logs, used to keep the website running securely and to protect the form against abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest).

Visitor statistics (Google Analytics): anonymous data about how the website is used — only if you give consent in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Details and the option to change your choice can be found in our Cookie Policy.

How long we keep the data

We keep inquiry data for the duration of the business negotiations and follow-up communication, at most 3 years after the last contact; then it is deleted. Server logs are deleted automatically in short intervals set by the hosting provider.

Who has access to the data

We do not pass your data to third parties for their own purposes. Only our contracted technical service providers take part in the processing: the web hosting and e-mail provider (server operation and mail delivery) and — only with your statistics consent — Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics, Google Maps). Google may transfer limited data to the USA under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to withdraw any given consent at any time. Simply write to vjb@vjbpartner.cz. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or with your local supervisory authority.

No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
